Developing your application

Developing your application

The key to writing a successful application is in the preparation and development of your aims and objectives.

It takes time to develop your application for European funding. It is important to start planning in advance of the deadline. Here are just some of the steps you’ll need to undertake in the preparation:

Step 1. Think about the aims and objectives you have for your project or training activity.

Learning about what has been funded in the past can help to inspire you when you are developing your aims. Take a look at the projects around the UK map and project directories. Another useful reference are our guidance notes which give useful information on running LLP projects.

Step 2. Find a host organisation for your training activity.

For In-Service Training and Visits & Exchanges

Identifying a host organisation that will be a good match is one of the most important elements for you to get the most out of your training activity.

Step 3. Read through the European and UK National Priorities and Guide for Applicants.

This will help you align your project idea to the key Grundtvig priorities, and help you understand how to write a high quality application. This will increase the chances of your project being funded. Not all the activites we fund have European and UK National Priorities.
