Multilateral Projects, Networks and Accompanying Measures

Multilateral Projects

Grundtvig Multilateral Projects are large-scale European projects which aim to develop innovative materials for adult education. You will need at least 3 partners in 3 different participating countries (including your own organisation) to be eligible, and you can ask for up to 150,000 euro per year to support up to 2 years of activity.

Networks

Grundtvig Networks are large-scale European networks which aim to support the sharing of ideas, information and good practice in adult education. You will need at least 10 partners in 10 different participating countries (including your own organisation) to be eligible, and you can ask for up to 150,000 euro per year to support up to 3 years of activity.

Accompanying Measures

Grundtvig Accompanying Measures aim to support activities to implement and disseminate the Grundtvig Programme. Activities that can be supported are for example, organising conferences in the field of adult learning, developing dissemination products and other awareness-raising activities, such as targeted promotional and information campaigns. Your organisation will not need any partners to apply, and you can ask for up to 150,000 euro for 1 year of activity.

How to Apply

These types of projects are not managed by ECOTEC. They are looked after by the European Commission's Executive Agency based in Brussels and are called 'centralised actions'.

If you would like further information, or want some advice on applying for Multilateral Projects, Networks or Accompanying Measures grants, then plese contact the Executive Agency directly.

The deadline for applications will be in early 2010 and you will need to submit your application to the Executive Agency in Brussels. Please do not send applications to ECOTEC as they will be ineligible. Please see the Executive Agency's website for comprehensive information on these projects.

In the meantime, you might want to apply to us for Preparatory Visit funding, which allows you to visit partners to prepare your application for a centralised project. See how to apply for Preparatory Visits funding.
