Opportunities for adult education providers and learners in the UK

Visits & Exchanges

Visits & Exchanges

This part of the Grundtvig programme provides an opportunity for staff working with adult learners to improve their practical skills and to gain a broader understanding of lifelong learning across Europe.

Grants are available to work shadow or attend a conference or seminar in another European country.

Key Information

  • The length of any work-related visit or exchange can vary depending on its purpose, but may not exceed 3 months.

  • Visits can start from 1 May 2010 and must start no later than 30 April 2011

  • There is a rolling deadline for applications:

You need to apply at least 8 weeks before the activity starts, and no later than 17 December 2010. Activities must start by 30 April 2011 at the latest.

  • Visits may be in one direction only or carried out as part of an exchange between organisations. Where appropriate, one grant may cover visits to several organisations.
