In-Service Training

This part of the Grundtvig programme provides an opportunity for staff working with adult learners to improve their practical skills and to gain a broader understanding of lifelong learning across Europe.

Grants are available to attend a training course in another European country.

The next application deadline will be 15 September 2010 for attending training between 1st January and 30 April 2011.

Funding Information

A grant contribution towards course fees, travel and subsistence costs is available. In-Service Training grants for 2010 have the following funding limits:

  • For activity up to 1 week   - €2,000
  • For activity up to 2 weeks - €2,500
  • For activity up to 6 weeks - €3,000

Please ensure that the grant you request in your application form is a realistic estimate, as we are unable to award any more than is requested.
