In-Service Training
This part of the Grundtvig programme provides an opportunity for staff working with adult learners to improve their practical skills and to gain a broader understanding of lifelong learning across Europe.
Grants are available to attend a training course in another European country.
Key Information
If you are interested in attending a training course, a European database of courses enables you to search quickly and easily for an appropriate training opportunity. To search for courses visit the database.
The next application deadline will be 15 September 2010 for attending training between 1st January and 30 April 2011.

Funding Information
A grant contribution towards course fees, travel and subsistence costs is available. In-Service Training grants for 2010 have the following funding limits:- For activity up to 1 week - €2,000
- For activity up to 2 weeks - €2,500
- For activity up to 6 weeks - €3,000
Please ensure that the grant you request in your application form is a realistic estimate, as we are unable to award any more than is requested.
