Sinead Devine from the Workers' Educational Association Northern Ireland attended the 2011 Learning in Later Life - Generational Cooperation course and found it an incredibly worthwhile experience:
I learned so much from the leaders and also from my fellow colleagues. There is some wonderful work happening across the EU in terms of later life learning. The trip has really made me think about the importance of research, policy and practice all working together, each one leading into the other, informing the other and supporting the work that takes place.
