- Assistantships
- In-Service Training
- Visits & Exchanges
Read our new Guidance Note on 'Making Mobility Work for You!' which contains useful information for everyone wanting to apply for a mobility grant and ideas to make the most of your experience.
Assistantships
Assistantships funding is open to anyone working or intending to work in adult education in the UK. Grants are available for individuals to go on a work placement to another adult education organisation in another European country, where you will spend 12-45 weeks working as a 'Grundtvig Assistant'.

Visits & Exchanges
Grants are available to allow individuals to:
- undertake a period of work shadowing in another participating country; or
- take part in a European conference or seminar on adult education.
The purpose of these grants is to improve teaching, coaching, counselling or management skills. Your participation can last between 1 day and 12 weeks and you will be supported by a grant which contributes towards your travel costs, living expenses and any course fees.
