Dyslexia & Learning in Adults, Seminar, Belgium

Dyslexia & Learning in Adults, Seminar, Belgium

27 - 31 May 2009

This seminar, taking place in Antwerp, is all about dyslexia and learning in adults. It aims to develop future Grundtvig Partnerships and Multilateral Projects in this area.

The seminar is being organised by 'Dys-Learn', a current Grundtvig Partnership project looking at dyslexia and learning in adults. The aim of the seminar is to generate a cluster of new Grundtvig Partnerships and Multilateral projects about adults with learning disorders. This has the intention of boosting cooperation between national initiatives in adult education, academic research, employment agencies, dyslexia associations and other stakeholders at a European level.

The seminar will focus on policy, good practice, help and support for adults with dyslexia in Lifelong Learning and the workplace.

If you are interested in developing project ideas in this area then this is a good opportunity to meet partners, exchange ideas and create the projects of the future.

During the four day seminar you will have an opportunity to:

  • visit the Eu-Parliament for a debate with MP’s and see the 'Dys-Learn' Grundtvig partnership team present proposals to enhance policy for adults with learning disorders.
  • listen to examples of best practice Grundtvig projects in this area; and
  • take part in working groups to meet new partners and develop project ideas.
