NIACE in partnership with the Open University are holding a National Policy Conference on widening participation in adult education: vision, reality and policy as part of Adult Learners' Week.

Overview

This conference will explore current and emerging challenges to widening participation in all types of adult education.  Representatives of all three major political parties will speak on the subject:

  • Gordon Marsden MP, Shadow Minister of State for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning
  • Baroness Margaret Sharp of Guildford
