Inspiring a love of learning
The Grundtvig programme is part of the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Programme. It supports individuals and organisations involved in non-vocational adult education to participate in European training activities and projects.
Funding opportunities under the Grundtvig programme are now closed, although programme activities will continue after this date. It will be replaced by a new programme Erasmus+ from January 2014 onwards.
If you have recently applied for a Grundtvig project, you will be informed of the outcome of your application later this year.
Partnerships and Senior Volunteering projects allow you to work together with other European organisations on a shared theme. They provide opportunities to exchange best practice, share ideas and explore solutions.
In-Service Training, Visits & Exchanges and Assistantships allow individuals working in adult education to develop their knowledge and skills through European training activities.
Workshops allow UK organisations to provide training on literacy issues to adult education staff from across Europe.
You may find all the information a little overwhelming to begin with. But don’t worry! Our team are always happy to help.
