Grundtvig is part of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme and aims to strengthen the European dimension in adult education and lifelong learning. Funding is open to any UK organisation involved in adult education who wants to work with European partners.

Mobility Opportunities Small Co-operation Projects
Travel to other European countries: 
- work placements (3-10 months),
- work shadowing visits & exchanges (up to 3 months),
- attend a conference,
- go on training courses.

UK organisations:
host workshops for learners,
- meet European partners for future project work.

UK organisations:
- create partnerships with European organisations to work on issues of mutual interest, share good practice & address common problems.

You can also:
- exchange senior volunteers (aged 50+) with a European counterpart.

Large Co-operation Projects How to Apply

UK organisations can work with European partners to: 
- develop new learning materials,
- manage European networks.
